Zero Motorcycles is a part of the future and there's no doubt about that, it's not about taking over the way motorcycles are now, it's about adding a new way to ride, instant torque, no sound, zero running costs and straight up fun. People thought the same thing about electric cars and now they're powerhouses when it comes to performance, imagine how it will be with a vehicle made specifically for performance.
The FXE is the super-moto variant of the Zero FX, designed for on roads and urban commuting with instant power and low consumption costs. I mean this thing has the same about of torque as most 1000cc superbikes from leading brands with 106 N-m of torque in a bike that weighs only 140kgs (60kgs less than the bikes with the same amount of torque) The battery life depends on how hard you ride it as it regenerates from braking, rewarding harder riding, It is also able to be charged from home with a 240v charger.
The FXE comes with custom ride modes, able to be changed from the Zero Motorcycles app or on the fly!
Now we come to the thing people don't think about, running costs. Obviously the FXE has a 7.2kwh electric engine, but this means there's no need for normal servicing, no oil changes, new spark plugs, valve clearance checks or major services. Being electric has even more benefits with no fuel, a charge if not charged at home will cost as little as $2, whereas petrol bikes can be $40. Once it adds up it is a huge difference from services and fuel to absolutely nothing.
Standard 2 years warranty with 5 years battery warranty, 1 year registration and all on-roads are covered in ride-away pricing for Victorian residents.
What is also offered:
All on road costs covered (Victorian Licence holders only)
In House Finance and Insurance options available.
This unit also has an option to upgrade to a 3-year Extendable warranty, (T&C’s Apply)
